Western Australian artist Matt Hayes has been experimenting with drip and stain techniques by manipulating pigment based colour on surfaces for over a decade. By enabling processes and channels of communication between the two worlds, the artist has created complex and stunning chromatic realms where operas of colour unfold and create narratives of their own.
