‘to hold a space for the body to give’ is the nought caught between the crosses, a worldly power suspended inside the judgement of the past and the foolishness of the future. Between these two forms, the body becomes an abstract vessel for navigation—whether to swim the oceans or traverse the cliffs. In time and space, trauma, queerness, and impairment all converge to a singularity, fostering an alienation of the self and a compulsion to listen to pop songs on repeat.

In a yearning to discover, we, the others, are subjected to trials of judgement and foolishness. Within a game of ex’s and oh’s, luck decides the final player—an often destined failure. to hold a space for the body to give unravels the ball of yarn to understand the depths between selves. We cry over our poetic tragedies and laugh at our mundane realities, questioning if just maybe, it really was aliens all along.
