Desire LInes

Matt Sav

Desire Lines is an audiovisual poem to the disused spaces of Fremantle.
A film and sculptural work paying homage to what was here before us, and what might come here after.

Matt Sav is a Western Australian multidisciplinary artist who works across sculpture, photography, music and video, and is interested in challenging people's understanding of conventional beauty through visual disruption and provocation. He has directed over 40 music videos, and his photography and designs have been featured in numerous international print and online publications. In 2018, his poetic short film 'Quality Time' premiered at the Revelation Film Festival, preceding a run of selections across multiple international festivals and online video platforms - including a Vimeo 'Staff Pick'. Matt studied art and graphic design in Perth and London, and is currently represented by German based production company Neuland.
