DUNE LIFE is a collaborative exploration by Joel Wynn Rees and James Whineray into the shifting sands of both contemporary and colloquial Australian identity. Unlike the desert wildernesses of the mind's eye, the dunes featured in Wynn Rees and Whineray's work are sites of teeming activity and cross cultural paradigms.

This new collection of work incorporates photo, video, sound and sculpture to offer an extensive documentation of the Lancelin sand dune culture. By transforming the space into a temporary dioramic encounter the audience are invited to experience DUNE LIFE.
