Outcome Unknown presents experimental music concerts in Western Australia. The monthly series platforms emerging and established artists from diverse musical backgrounds. In 2018 it received a nomination for Industry Representative of the Year at the West Australian Music Awards.

Outcome Unknown is run by Eduardo Cossio and receives support from Tura New Music and Catch Music Inc.

The Outcome Unknown 7-Year Anniversary celebrates the diverse voices within Boorloo's experimental music community.

From 7pm on August 23 at PS Art Space, Outcome Unknown will (Upstairs Gallery) offer a program of delicate and boundary-pushing music for acoustic and electronic instruments.

LAND'S AIR
Eduardo Cossio & Josten Myburgh are a duo of improvisers working with found microtonality in detuned zithers and alto saxophone multiphonics, the duo spin melodies and harmonies around each other, slowly unfolding, making sense of the tonality in real time.

JANE STARK
Percussionist Jane Stark has performed live and in recordings with various ensembles since 2015, including WAAPA’s premiere percussion ensemble Defying Gravity. Her passion is writing and performing post-‘Classical’ musics, atmospheric pop, and groove-based experimental rock.

STORYTIME
Storytime is the project of Hannah Woolley an electronic musician, originally trained as an orchestral oboist. They use their classical background to inform an expressive and personal exploration into ambient synthesiser music.
