Primary

Flynn Talbot

Talbot'sPrimary, explores the projection of primary colour across a fragmented, triangular landscape. This piece was first conceived and explored while Talbot lived and worked in Berlin. The effects of this scale installation are dynamic, psychedelic and captivating. The piece will be shown with a soundscape to fully immerse the viewer in a light fuelled sensory experience.

Talbot uses light to connect people with their surrounding environment. His explorations of colour, shape and light offer the viewer an opportunity to be transported. Through his products and installations, he strives to balance innovation with a simplicity that breaks down the boundaries between the viewer and light.

Talbot's work has been exhibited in Paris, Berlin, London, Vienna, Cologne, Frankfurt and Sydney. He won young Lighting Designer of the Year (2010), best new product at Ventura Lambrate in Milan (2011), was a runner up for the Bombay Sapphire Award (2012) and has been featured in Wallpaper and Monocle magazines amongst many others.
