Tone List

presents

Tone list presents this line-up of outrageously good experimental music from artists active internationally. Sometimes deadpan and intense, sometimes goofy and wild, always committed to fascinating new possibilities with sound and performance and having a Good And Interesting Time. You oughta be there!

JASON KAHN (Zurich) delivers a chaotic, feedback-driven modular synthesizer solo

DALE GORFINKEL (Naarm) presents "Headbanging", a solo for multiple drum kits () and mallet-helmet

LAURA ALTMAN (Sydney) & SAGE PBBBT out their long-standing but rarely-presented collaboration of subtle and delicate improvised sounds using cassette tapes, small speakers, gentle feedback, voices and clarinet

WE1 XAM (Naarm), the duo of Jaslyn Robertson & Darlene Aaron, make multilayered analogue and FM synth meltdowns

WETPUDDLSS brings weird party energy & interim ambience as DJ for the evening.

A hint of Audible Edge turbo energy for yas in the absence of the festival this year ;)

Doors, bar and DJ at 7pm, live music starts after 7:30pm.

Pay-what-you-can as per our usual model - we suggest $30, $20 or $10. This event is volunteer-run and presented without funding and we appreciate your support for this ridiculous artist roster and the efforts they've made to get here.

Jason Kahn's visit is supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
