Drawing from the hyper realism palette, Waterdance delves into the enigmatic and hypnotic forces at work, when water and light meet to produce a subtle dance of nature. The artist gracefully manages to capture these fleeting moments in her elaborate and compelling paintings.
Julie-Ann Brown’s subject matter is directly borrowed from the environment she inhabits, ranging from coastal strips to riverine landscapes. Her investigative methodology into the medium of oil paint takes the viewer into many waters.
