Detached Perspective

12-27 March 2016, Tue-Sun, 11am-4pm, closed Sat 19 March and Sun 20 March
This expressive, new body of work from Australian artist Anya Brock marks a departure from her signature figurative subject matter of birds, animals and women’s faces to complete abstraction.
Brock’s work has always been driven by emotive mark making – traditionally fashioned to represent figurative subject matter. This body of work sees Anya surrender figuration completely, allowing the expressive gestures to convey the message.
